PhotoChopper is made by one developer. Questions, bug reports and ideas all go to the same inbox, and every message is read.
Reporting a bug
These details help a lot:
- Your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About).
- The app version (in PhotoChopper: Settings → About).
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot or screen recording, if you can. Please don’t send photos you don’t want us to see.
- Roughly how many photos are in your library.
Common questions
I chopped a photo by mistake.
Open the Photos app → Albums → Recently Deleted, select the photo and tap Recover. iOS keeps deleted items there for about 30 days.
Analysis is slow or stuck.
The first scan of a big library takes a while. It runs on your iPhone and keeps going while your phone charges, so leaving it plugged in overnight helps.
The app only sees some of my photos.
With “Limited Access”, iOS only shows the app the photos you selected. To let PhotoChopper see the whole library, go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → PhotoChopper → Full Access.
How do I start over?
In the app, Settings → Reset lets you clear the analysis data and your review progress. Your photos stay untouched.
